The Midwest CASC directly supports graduate students and postdoctoral researchers hosted by consortium member universities and interfaces with dozens more through research projects led by scientists at their host university, partner institutions, and/or USGS. The Midwest CASC also supports a cohort-based undergraduate research experience program that is meant to build capacity and develop Tribal climate change science professionals through a research and internship experience with organizations working on adaptation topics.
