Jessica Hellmann, Consortium Director of the Midwest Climate Adaptation Science Center and Executive Director of the University of Minnesota's Institute on the Environment, was a featured guest on NPR's 1A in November 2023. The interview was part of a series called SOS: Save Our Species, focused on global biodiversity.

"When we think about doing nature conservation, we have to confront how we will address climate change and the realities of climate change that are already appearing and affecting ecosystems. We have to include that in our nature conservation plans."
