Getting to East Lansing  

• The Lansing airport is the closest airport to the MSU campus. However, flying into Detroit and driving or shuttling to East Lansing will likely be more affordable. 
• East Lansing is located approximately a 1.5 hour drive from Detroit. There is also a shuttle that runs from the Detroit airport to the MSU campus approximately every 1.5 hours. 
• Amtrak offers daily trips from Chicago to East Lansing, an approximately 4 hour train ride.
