Ashley Trudeau is a postdoctoral researcher in the Jensen lab at UW Madison. She investigates human behavior as a key feedback in fisheries experiencing social and ecological change, including in Wisconsin’s inland lakes and the Midatlantic. The success of fisheries management pivots on the responses of human resource users. By effectively monitoring fishing effort across fishery landscapes and anticipating adaptive responses of anglers, managers can proactively manage fisheries for social-ecological resilience.
