Shyam Thomas is a broadly trained landscape ecologist with a general interest in understanding species distribution patterns across space and time. In brief, as a researcher and landscape ecologist, he combines spatial analysis, ecological modeling and conservation science to find spatially-informed conservation solutions at the landscape-level. Past research projects include invasive species distribution patterns / niche modeling, drivers of fish mercury levels, and cross-habitat spillover.
