ORISE Fellow

Taylor Siddons grew up in Minnesota and earned a B.A. in Biology, Society, and the Environment from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Early in his career, he worked across the country with various public land management agencies and conservation organizations. From these experiences, he developed a keen interest in how diverse land management organizations address natural resource issues and the unique challenges they face when collaborating across boundaries on landscape-scale objectives. Currently, Taylor is pursuing an M.S. in Forestry at Iowa State University, where he is focusing on the efficacy of managing climate-vulnerable boreal tree species by targeting sites for their potential to act as climate refugia in northeastern Minnesota. In his free time, Taylor enjoys cooking, running, reading, and playing board games.
